Terms of Service
1. GENERALThese are the artist's terms of service for non-commercial art commissions. By commissioning the artist you agree to these terms.The artist reserves the right to alter these terms at any time. Currently undergoing commissions will follow the previously agreed upon terms.The artist reserves the right to refuse work for any reason.The commissioner must own or have permission to use the characters that are going to be depicted.The commissioner must be at least 18 years old.“You” and “The commissioner” will be used interchangeably throughout this document.2. USEYou are free to use the commissioned artwork for personal purposes.You may post the commissioned artwork online with due credit.Unless a commercial rate is previously agreed upon, you are not allowed to sell the artwork in any form (e.g. prints, stickers) nor distribute the full resolution files provided.You are not allowed to modify the artwork, remove the artist's signature or otherwise detach the artist from the artwork without the artist's express consent.If you don’t want the artwork to be posted or shared, please let the artist know beforehand.3. PAYMENTPaypal will be used for international payments.Payment must be done in full and upfront.You will receive an invoice containing these terms of service.Payment of the invoice implies the terms have been read and understood.4 REFUNDS4.1 Full refunds can be provided if:
The artist has not yet begun working on the commission.
The artist cancels the commission at any stage for any personal reason.4.2 Partial refunds can be provided if:
The client cancels the commission after the artist starts working on it.
The client acts disrespectfully or offensively.No refund will be provided after the artwork is complete.5. TURNAROUND TIMECommissions are estimated to be completed within a month after payment.Each commission is estimated to be completed within two weeks after the artist starts working on it.The above mentioned times are estimates only.6. WORK PROCESSThe artist will provide a rough sketch for approval. The rough sketch can be completely redone from scratch as needed.The artist will wait for the commissioner’s approval before each stage (line art, coloring).The artist holds complete rights to the images produced at this stage of the process, which means incomplete work may not be used as is by the commissioner.The artist will send the complete work for approval one final time. Once the work is deemed complete, the full resolution file(s) will be sent to you.7. REVISIONSMajor revisions can be asked during the sketch phase. After the line art process begins, minor corrections (e.g. small details or color adjustments) can still be made. If unsure, just ask.Thank you so much for your interest!
